West Ham fans urge club to re-sign Ravel Morrison after midfielder plea

Former West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison has hinted on his official Instagram account that he would be keen to re-join the club in the future, and Irons fans would back a move for the player, who earned £15,000-a-week during his previous spell, according to the Daily Mail.

The 25-year-old is currently on loan at Mexican side Atlas from Italian giants Lazio as his colourful career continues, and he has scored two goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for the former this season, according to Transfermarkt.

Morrison was a controversial figure during his time at Upton Park and was repeatedly fined for misconduct, while his contract with them was terminated in 2015, after he had scored five goals in 24 outings in total for them.

West Ham supporters, who have taken to social media to give their thoughts on a rumoured move for Marouane Fellaini, have been quick to have their say on a potential return for Morrison via social media, and while one said “bring him home”, another said “I’d have him back tomorrow”.
